Deliveries
Flooring, ceiling grid, joinery and specialist equipment arrive when the preceding work can receive them.
Material timing
A finish cannot be applied to a substrate that is not ready, and a long lead-in item cannot be assumed to be on the shelf.
Specialist contractors
Regulated and specialist work is placed in the sequence and carried out by competent specialists where required.
Occupied space
Phasing is agreed around the operation of the business. It is not assumed that the floor can be emptied.
Programme
Dates follow scope, conditions, access, approvals, materials and the agreed order of work.
Quality review
Completed areas are reviewed against the agreed scope before completion is treated as reached.
Communication
Changes to layout, finish or access are recorded so the trades working next are not guessing.
